Barbecue Chicken Pita Pizzas

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Sprouts deli rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup Sprouts original barbecue sauce
  • 4 pieces pita bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sprouts canned pineapple chunks in juice, drained and rinsed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper, and sauté 3 minutes. Stir in chicken and barbecue sauce, and remove from heat.

  3. Arrange pita bread on a baking sheet, and top evenly chicken mixture, cheese, and pineapple.

  4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese melts and pitas are crisp.
